16" tall. Light Shade
A very large cupped leaf, blue green.
Depth of cups measured at 4 inches. One of our best.
From the hosta wild man, Chuck Purtymun, comes this still hard to find gem. H.'Abiqua Drinking Gourd' (H. 'Tokudama' x H. sieboldiana), has round cardboard-like, deeply cupped powder blue leaves on a 16" wide clump. In early summer, the clumps are topped with white flowers. In a garden, no plant will evoke more favorable comments!
A very large blue with extremely cupped leaves and good color.
A tokudama x sieboldiana hybrid, with thick, heavily puckered blue foliage. The leaves are deeply cupped and are held upright, forming an open clump about 20" tall. Near-white flowers.
