Seedling of Dorothy Benedict. Broad tapered blue green with white edge. The mature leaves have this incredible pebbling on surface like alligator hide & good substance. A Dr. Benedict masterpiece.
A cross of Dr. Benedict between H. 'Dorothy Benedict' and H. montana and grown on by Handy Hatfield. The leaf is broad with a tapered point that twists slightly and displays a unique frosty blue-green color with a white border. The immature leaf is smooth but as the plant matures the leaf develops a pebbling on the surface. Slow to multiply and does better with a full morning of sun. Lavender flowers on a typically H. montana scape availability has been scarce.
