Seedling from one of the very first AHS seed exchanges. Has been around in rock gardening culture for years and years. A slightly stoloniferous blue mini that makes a platter-shaped clump. LAvender flowers. Fertile.
This is a vigorous, ground-hugging miniature. It emerges blue and becomes blue-green by midsummer. This plant is smaller and more vigorous than H.'Blue Moon' and H.' Blue lee', although not quite as blue. The leaf has a pronounced heart shape and the scapes are straight and floriferous with light lavender blooms. A seedling of unknown parentage.
Progeny:
'Country Mouse' sport/bw
'Little Green Griffonage' seedling
