This wonderful edger from the late Bob Savory is a hybrid of H. nakaiana. The vigorous growing small clump to 11" wide is perfect for a woodland border. The lance shaped dark green leaves are surrounded by a distinctive creamy border. In late spring, the clumps are topped with purple flowers on 18" scapes.

Forms a round and compact mound. The flower stems have beautiful vestigial leaves and are laden with many medium purple flowers in early summer.
