Last year, Bill Meyer offered a piece of a plant called 'Blind Date'. Unfortunately, he doesn't have enough of it to offer again this year. We tried, folks. He did offer a piece of its neighbor, 'First Date', which looks pretty darn good to us. That's it in the center of the photo, with 'Blind Date' coming in at the right. It's a streaked blue that is somewhat bigger than 'Halcyon', and it's fertile to boot! This will make a great specimen for the collector, or a useful but pretty tool for the hybridizer.
