'High Tide' is a 1998 cross between H. longipes latifolia and H. 'Dorset Blue'. It features a nice compact clump, of frosty blue-green, heart-shaped leaves. Pretty lavender flowers open on 20 inch scapes in late summer. A good hosta for the front of the border or along a shaded garden walk.
