Related to H. Majordomo, also 8 years old, but is somewhat larger, and has exceptionally dark purple petioles and scapes which are 14" in height.. Blooms medium lavender last week in July...Plant is 16.5" high x 43" inches wide. Leaf color dark green..Leaf Shape: Broadly Ovate, heart shaped base. Leaf Size: 12.5" long x 6.5" wide. Veins: 11 pairs. Leaf Margin slightly rippled. Appearance lightly wavy. Slightly shiny leaf top, very shiny underside of leaf. Flower: Bell shaped 2.5". Origin unclear, but there is a kikutii caput-avis close by, and this could be an open pollinated cross..
