Hosta 'Lakeside Grandee' just had to be grandee because of its tremendous substance, wonderful ruffling and unique flower habit. Its seedlings share these grand characteristics. Masses of white bell-shaped flowers sway above the rich foliage. The plant has ovate leaves with cordate bases. The seeds are viable and the parentage is unknown. It was registered in 1994 [MC].
Medium to Large - very heavy substance, deep green scalloped leaves appear to float from their petioles, beautiful form ,excellent quality, progeny of 'Lakeside Ripples'.
