Hosta 'Lakeside Happy Talk' is a small, low-growing, mediovariegated plant. The bright green borders of its lightly cupped leaves enhances the clean white centers. Pale lavender flowers sway above the clump. This is a 1998 introduction; the parentage is H. "seedling" x H. "seedling." The plant has ovate leaves with rounded bases [MC].
