'Lakeside Knickknack' is a small, energetic plant that has three flowering periods each summer. It even sets seed all three times. It's a pod parent queen. As a seedling it won a section award in MI. On the way home in downtown Chicago a street marker read Knickknack. What could be a better name for an indescribable plant? This hosta is a 1994 registration and it has viable seed set. The ancestry is H. "seedling" x H. 'Hydon Sunset'. The leaves are ovate with a rounded base and have average substance [MC].
