=H. sieboldii 'Mishima Fukurin'
Stoloniferous.
Dark green with orange border.
Shiny dark green leaves have a wide yellow border and are topped with lavender flowers midseason.
This fascinating little hosta from Japan amazes us more each year. The upright arching clump resembles a small H. 'Krossa Regal' in form. H. 'Mishima Fukurin Koba' boasts very dark green pointed heart-shaped foliage surrounded by a nice wide rippled creamy gold border. The fast growing 2' wide clump makes a truly unique looking hosta. In case you were wondering, mishima means "three islands" and is a location in Japan, "fukurin" means margined, and "koba" means small leaf. Thanks to our friend Barry Yinger who knows all this cool information.
