Descriptions (from various sources):
=H. ventricosa 'Taffeta'.
The leaves look just like dark green velvet. Dark purple flowers in August.
12" tall. Part Sun to Light Shade.
From the late Russ O'Harra comes one of his finest introductions. This seedling of H. ventricosa 'Aureomarginata' is one of the darkest (nearly black) green hostas that we grow. The H. ventricosa shaped leaves almost glitter when the light hits just right. In early summer, the clumps are topped with 2' spikes of large lavender and white striped bells... very distinctive in the woodland garden!
A beauty from Russ O'Harra, the undulating leaves are extremely dark green with a nice sheen to them.
