H. 'Xanadu Ephemeral Gold' is a seedling out of H. 'Xanadu Virginia Mary' NR. It is a brilliant spot of gold in the spring. It holds it color well, turning only slightly greenish with a bronze tinge in summer. It is a rhizomatous plant with dark lavender flowers with white stripes, and is fertile.
